Danny’s Journey Through
the Camino de Santiago
on a Wheelchair

Published 2019/07/30

CompactCath in the News! We are so glad to see our product helping people travel the world!

Danny completed the Camino de Santiago (120 miles) on a wheelchair and this is what he had to say about using CompactCath:

“The hardest thing for me to figure out was self-catheterizing without a lot of waste and making a mess in the airplane. I settled on a CompactCath Lite for self-catheterizing with very little waste and only a bit of mess. I highly recommend the product. It was a relief that I had a way to do it without worry.”

Check out more about his amazing story at The Chronic Traveller from Jenny Wren and at Danny’s own podcast at Health Hats.

We produce catheters that are compact, mess-free, non-touch, and pre-lubricated. They are discreetly designed, convenient, and perfect for those who lead an active life.

CompactCath® is designed at Stanford d.school. It is FDA-cleared in 2014, holds six patents, covered by CNN Money, won two grants (BioDesign Spectrum grant, LPCH Pediatric Innovation grant) and two iF product design awards (2016, 2017).
